Country Singer — Sheryl Crow

Sheryl Suzanne Crow (born 11 February 1962) is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, musician and actress. Their music incorporates elements of rock, folk, hip-hop, country and pop. It has won nine Grammy Awards from the National Academy of Arts and Sciences.

It was submitted with the Rolling Stones and has sung duos with Mick Jagger, Michael Jackson, Eric Clapton, Luciano Pavarotti, John Mellencamp, Kid Rock, Michelle Branch, and Sting, along with others. Acted on backing vocals for Tina Turner and Don Henley. Crow has released seven Studio albums, two compilations, and a live album, and has contributed to film soundtracks. He has sold over 16 million albums in United States and 35 million albums worldwide and their last album to date, 100 miles from Memphis, was released on 20 July 2010. Recently appeared in 30 Rock, Cougar Town, Hannah Montana Forever and rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear.

Personal life

Sheryl Crow was born on February 11, 1962 in Kennett, a village of (USA). It was almost inevitable that devoted to music, because it comes from a family of musicians. His father Wendell Crow played in bands swing and his mother, Bernice, was a musician by profession.

Sheryl began studying the piano only 5 years old. From a very young girl listened to Christine McVie (Fleetwood Mac), Elton John and Bob Dylan music. Influenced by all of them, wrote his first song at the age of 13. The school became drum majorette without leaving his piano lessons. When arrived at the University of Missouri, joined a rock band called Cashmere. After finishing his studies, worked as a music teacher at a school for children autistic in St. Louis. Since then advocate of “Save The Music” is a program of music education in schools.

Before becoming a music star, had to do different jobs as a Chorister in commercials, including one well-known hamburgueserias McDonald’s chain. In 1999 was nominated for the Grammy Award for this album in the category of best rock album, producer of the year, rock singer of the year for the song “There Goes The Neighborhood” and best pop singer by the theme “My Favorite Mistake”. Only won for best rock album. In 1999 he edited “Sheryl Crow and”Friends”: Live In Central Park”. A live album recorded at the Central Park of New York, he made duets with Dixie Chicks, Stevie Nicks, Eric Clapton, and Sarah McLachlan, among others. one of his collaborations is “C ‘mon, c’ mon” Duet with The Corrs. Sheryl Crow has also participated in the soundtrack of well-known films as “El Mañana Nunca Muere”, James Bond, “A great Pope”, “message in a bottle”, “my name is Sam” and “Cars” series.
