One of the reasons that gives Schneider on the cessation of its first activities musical marcarían ironically the future of his career: “I wanted to learn to play guitar and I wouldn’t, told me to learn to play well it (nylon-string guitar) first.” “As I was bored, and preferred to go home to see cartoons, I left.”

Schneider never felt comfortable with the plectrum commonly used playing electric guitars, by which preferred relegated to a background from a point of view guitarrístico and playing songs bases. But in his guitar studies began appearing country music, where he saw numerous artists playing complex musical phrases and others using techniques of fingerpicking as Chet Atkins later recognize as one of their major influences. Know the music of Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler guitarrístico style gave the final blow.2 “I wanted to take a more active position from the guitar, and had discovered great artists like Mark Knopfler had achieved successfully be singers and leading guitarists playing without spike.” There I said: this is what I needed to do all this time! “.”
Since then began to develop his technical, particularly according to Schneider “deformation of Mark Knopfler where I use four fingers of the right hand instead of three, similar to many classical guitarists, but allowing me to play at a higher speed and other licks and riffs technique.”

It is also bass and occasionally uses a low Washburn live. Is “retro sound” mistress of the 50s, 60s and 70s, influenced by all the artists in rock and pop from those times, such as Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Chuck Berry, Pink Floyd, Beach Boys, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eagles, Chet Atkins, Neil Young, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath, Rolling Stones, Roy Orbison, B.B. King, and many other artists on what his music always has a retro tint. However, also highlights the influence of musicians from the 1980s onwards, as Guns N’ Roses, Brian Setzer, Foo Fighters, Living Colour, Whitesnake, Soundgarden, Audioslave, Hellecasters, Gary Moore, Alan Jackson, The Smiths, and others. His favourite guitar amplifier is the Crate GX-120 that generates different sounds recording studio as well as its reproduction live. Also uses a pedal Digitech GNX2 for effects only connecting in a special way to the amplifier. It has a record vocal broad (tenor is) and a soft voice, which creates an interesting contrast with the electric and distorted sound of his songs. Lyrics tend to have an abstract nuance though sometimes tell stories, according to the author does not have a single interpretation. Interpretation is given each listener and there is no one correct, they all are. His music cannot be kind in a specific genre, but rather a range that includes styles as diverse as the country music, blues, flamenco, bossa nova with a base of rock and pop. Sebastian Schneider is a fingerpicker what not never used a spike for playing guitar. His technique uses all the less the little finger, right hand fingers which allows a high speed to play solos, riffs and licks. Also committed to develop the ability to play complex used arrays at the same time sings, which he calls as “learn a new tool from scratch”.
Shows live
Schneider likes to make live shows that pot musical experience. Therefore there is always an extra component to their concerts, a scenery, some intimate story of the artist to his audience, some pseudo-teatral situation or Visual effects. Not eat before a concert, and all who ingested is whisky, something that has been done on stage in some situations.
